With the new stay at home restrictions, you might be looking for fun ways for your children to give back to the community. Maybe you’ve seen the adorable rainbow scavenger hunts, or are looking for a creative activity for your younger kiddos. Well, today we have a fun, and colorful way for your little ones to send a special thank you rainbow to the various community helpers that are putting in so many extra hours this season.

Thank Your Rainbow Coloring Page

The first activity we’ve created is a Thank you coloring page. This is helpful for your younger students who might not be ready to doodle their own rainbow. This is a great way for them to build fine motor control as the rainbow and the border feature many details to color in.

These would also look beautiful when hung up in the window if you are near by any of the scavenger hunts in town.

Thank You Rainbow Directed Drawing Activity:

The second activity we’ve included is a Doodle Rainbow Directed Drawing Activity. First, students follow the 5-step instructions to doodle their own rainbow. Next, they will cut across the dotted line to separate their drawing. We encourage you to have your student write a special message on the rest of the page.
