Learning to read doesn’t have to be expensive and YOU can teach your child for free with our Word Family and Sight Word Printables. Word Families are a group of words with the same ending. For example cat, rat, mat, hat, bat are all part of the “at” word family. Learning about word families is a key part of learning to read. Children can pick up on patterns and rhyming sounds very quickly which in turn lends to reading confidence and reading success.

Hello,
I’m an ESL teacher in Abu Dhabi. I came across your site looking for something creative for my one of my challenging kids. I love it. I’ve been incorporating using sign language to help them spell better.

Hello, I am very excited to have found your website! I am currently homeschooling my 5 year old since she couldn’t start school because of her late birthday month. I figured why not teach her myself and thanks to many resources to include yours I have come across its been helping and her progress shows. Right now, I am in the process of teaching her how to read so Thank you for creating these printable’s and so much more!
Thanks so much! I can’t wait to use these with my grade one class.
Maloney’s home school here, My 5 year old loves doing this she said they are fun and easy and now my 2 year old is watching and trying too. Helps them learn and easy for them.
Hello!
Sometime last semester I printed a huge packet off from your site ( it says Kindergartenmom.com on each page) of word families where you give 6 pictures each containing 3 boxes below them, and the cvc words that go along with those word family pictures.
I was telling a colleague about them and cannot find them anywhere to share them with her. Any ideas where it went?
